The LASFS forums are for discussions on many topics, you can
access them here.

Anybody can read the forums, but you will need to register if you want to say something there.

If you have already registered, you can login here.

If you are new to the forums, you can register here. You will need to make up a username and a password and provide an email addres. You will also need to type in the confirmation code that is shown on a mottled gray background. Also, please write something fannish in the "Interests" box so the administrator will know you're a fan and not a would-be spammer. Then click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

After you register, an administrator will need to approve your registration before you can post to the forums. This may take a day or two. You will receive an email notification when your registration is complete.

The LASFS Forum is a cluster of topical discussion areas for announcements and information exchange by LASFS members and SF fen in general, about LASFS' facilities, activities, current events, and issues of those interests we tend to share. We have tried to make it comfortable and user-friendly for real people by making it as spambot-hostile as possible.

That said, LASFS forum membership is like LASFS itself -- only about 5% of the people who have signed up for membership ever show up to participate. Since, at the time of this writing, we currently have 43 registered users at the Forum, that means only 2.15 people ever post there on a regular basis. We'd like to improve on that, but we can't do it without your help.
