Menace of the LASFS

These are the Menace of the LASFS. They are the official minutes of the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society, Inc.

Publication note:

The principal author of some of these Menace (see further Publication Notes, within) considers the only true version to be that which contains all formatting, i.e., underscores, bold, superscripts, italics, and even the occasional naughty strikeover. Said Menace were originally written in various word processing applications, and have been converted to Hypertext Markup Language for posting on the official LASFS Web site. I have taken the opportunity to make a few minor spelling corrections (chiefly proper names).

That same author cautions that ASCII-only versions of his Menace may not reflect his true intentions, and requests that any quotation or reprinting of his Menace as may be allowed under Fair Use shall be based upon this HTML edition with all aforementioned formatting preserved intact.

Legal stuff:

These Menace represent the opinions of their author(s), and do not claim to reflect the opinions of the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society, Inc.

All HTML coding and editing has been performed by Matthew B. Tepper. Thanks to all of the Scribes for their contributions to the lore of the LASFS. In addition, thanks are due to Tim Merrigan, who retyped many sets of Menace from scratch for De Profundis; to Lee Gold, Rita Prince Winston and possibly others for assisting Tim with typing and proofreading; to Bob Null, for helping me to find the electronic versions of some of these files; to Webmaster Mike Stern, Webmonsters Heather Stern and Jim Dennis, and the LASFS Board of Directors, for their support of this project; and special thanks to one of the Scribes, Joe Zeff, for providing me with almost all of his Menace already in electronic form.
