It's a banquet! It's a feast! VIVA LASFS!!!
This Year's banquet is on a table ...
Just like your favorite Las Vegas buffet ...
Menu
- Salad Bar
- Assorted shrubbery, mix and match
- Soups
- Chicken noodle -- think Souplantation!
- "Freedom" onion -- Beef stock, onions, thyme, and not much more
- Main dishes
- Pot roast -- Beef braised in Guinness, with potatoes; carrots and onions on the side
- Lasagna -- Karl's been playing in the kitchen again. Lasagna noodles layered with ricotta cheese, flavored with basil, mushrooms, and a dash of nutmeg. Diced tomatoes with garlic, basil and oregano are used sparingly instead of a prepared sauce.
- Side dishes
- Mashed potatoes with gravy
- Hot vegetables including corn and green beans
- Other sides as inspiration strikes
- Dessert
- Bundt cakes, kindly donated by Sheri Benoun
- A Sundae bar, most appropriate, given the day of the week.
Attendance at the banquet is limited to 50 people.
Admission is six dollars ($6.00) American.
