Conventions

Science Fiction Conventions

Science Fiction conventions are largely run by volunteer effort, the expected result being a weekend of informative panels, gaming, open discussion in the "con suite," and other amusements.

For some people, the amusement and fellowship of making conventions themselves work is more than half the fun.

@ Loscon

The theme for the upcoming Loscon 30 (November 28-30, 2003) is Navigating the Worlds of Science Fiction

@ La-La Con

This Spring Relaxacon is held at the clubhouse, on a spring weekend (April, approximately). It is affectionately dubbed "lalacon" but each year has a new name.
